See this coffee pot? I got it for Christmas. Well it doesn't work! It drives me nuts. The coffee grinds end up everywhere and the coffee doesn't pour into the pot. So it ends up all over the counter. I did take it back to Costco to get another one, only to have the same problem.

I'm sorry you have coffee pot blues. That is frustrating! I bought a new black & decker coffee put just before Christmas and I have been disappointed in it as well. It's not the same model though. But it leaks water all over the counter and is sooooooo slow! i will never buy a B&D coffee pot again!
You should direct call the company, tell them what happened and see if they can compensate you for your troubles, many companies want happy customers, especially in this day of economic hardship...
Personally I think both you ladies need to get a french press coffee pot, a good coffee grinder, some fresh roasted beans and you will never go back to drip coffee

I have had the same coffee pot that my sister got me when I was a teenager to go in my hope chest. :)
I said whenever it dies I think I want a percolator... OR a nice coffee pot with a timer so I can set it and it make it for me in the mornings...
How fun is that? :)
