My little lamb is two

My dear Rachael Joy,
What a truly wonderful year it has been watching your grow from baby to toddler. When you were born be prayed that you would have an abundance of the joy of the Lord in your life, which is why Joy is in your name. My prayer is that the joy of the Lord would would lead you and your amazing laugh would brighten peoples lives. We all have adored watching you grow this year into a little lady, not a day goes by that I don't ponder just how blessed I truly am. Everyday at 1:00 pm I look forward to laying in your bed with you as you drift off to sleep. The sweet smell of baby shampoo in your hair takes my breath away. I quietly whisper a prayer over you. Thank you Jesus for this child this gift that so easily we could have said no to. Thank-you for her.
Some things about Rachael

Since Rachael started eating food on her own, not a day has gone by where she hasn't left it out of her hair. Therefore the second she is done her dinner she is stripping off her clothes announcing "bath? bath?" In her little world food= bath time.
Ironically she hates to have her hair washed.
At 16 months Rachael started to hide, she quickly learned the game of hide and seek and so far to date is the best hider. She can be ever so quiet and stay in place for a long enough time Mommy starts to panic.
I have "art" work in a rainbow of colors from 2 feet down through out my home. She often has "tattoo's" on her body from her "art" work.
Rachael is a huge helper, after changing baby Jude she is right there to get the diaper into the pail. Or quick to get a lost sock back on a foot. Also if he is set down for any reason she is quick to tuck him in with a blanket.
She loves to dance! Turn the music on and her little body starts movin, it makes me smile every day.
She now can count to 10, and can point out the colors pink, blue and yellow.
When she is tired she sucks her index finger and thumb at the same time and with other hand rubs a mole on my arm.
Today we celibrated with family. There was 18 of us around the table celibrating this blessing in our lives. I made Lasanga, shake and bake chicken legs, ceacer salad and focaccia bread.
Her cake was my Gr. Grandma's recipe called a poke cake, just your basic white cake with jello inside.
