Patience

This week we are talking and learning about patience.

What is Patience? Well it's waiting without complaining.

We talked about what it means by "planting seed" in spiritual terms. And when we witness, we are planting seeds. We may not see the fruit, but we should continue to sow the Word and be patient for God to work his plan.

C.H. Spurgeon said, "If you are tempted to lose patience with your fellowmen, stop and think
how patient God has been with you."

It is easy finding reasons why other people should be patient.
George Eliot.

John and Charles Wesley were blessed with a patient mother. At one time her husband said, "I marvel at your patience! You have told that child the same thing twenty times!" Susanna Wesley looked fondly at the child and said, "Had I spoken the matter only nineteen times, I should have lost all my labour."

We will continue this week studying more of the science behind the seed. The older 4 will be drawing pictures of their plants at the stages they are at on index cards and a then later put them in order and will be glued down on to poster board in a circle

What a great way to have them learn that lesson and to be honest ... I need to learn from it too, my patience with other people is not what it should be.

You are such a great mom.
