17.9 weeks

My Blog! Oh how I have missed blogging.
It's been a busy full few weeks, I can't possibly share it all with you.

My sweet little muffin is 17.9 weeks old now, he is a 13.2 pounds.Every night as I get ready for bed I pull him in close so I can feel his sweet baby breath on my cheeks. I am enjoying this baby so much, I look forward to every excuse to hold him and put my feet up, rest and take in every moment of mothering him. I am nurturing a precious life! There is nothing more important in those moments that God wants me to be doing.

He is rolling over from tummy to back and back to tummy. His brothers and sisters can get the most amazing belly laugh out of him. He has added JOY to our tent!

Mothering him through the night has also been such a blessing, it's such a precious experience. Something I didn't understand with my first two because sleep was my priority. If only I could go back....

We started back at our school work about two weeks ago. Things are flowing along nicely as planned. We start our morning off with devotions and prayer, I am seeing some major growth in my children's hearts. I have been very encouraged by this. God is moving in their lives and I can see it!
My motto this year is " I am a Mother before I am a Homeschooler" How freeing is that!!
No worries of what to do with littles while I teach because everyday my children are learning. They will for get the facts and text books but the attitude and my lifestyle will imprint there hearts forever. If we run out of time in the day for the structured books there is always tomorrow. Our goal for the children this year is Christ first! HE is our priority! Not sports, not education not anything but to live for Christ!

Chris and I are also re-taking Growing Kids God's Way with two other couples. Although I don't agree with most of what Ezzo teaches for the early years his stuff on moral training is excellent. It's been really good to talk with others about the how's and whys of training children. I have been really challenged about the "why" of training. We train for God's purposes not our own. It's not enough as Christian parents to dedicated our children as babies we need to DAILY consecrate and prepare them for their destiny.

Along with all that our computer crashed and I got a new one. Thank-goodness for warranty. Although I lost everything.

I will be back...
